Empower Uganda’s Children
Through Education

Helping Ugandan Children Gain Access to Education

The Mandate significantly improves the lives of Ugandan children through various impactful programs. Their sewing school offers vocational training, helping trainees secure jobs or start businesses in the textile industry.

The Hands of Hope Primary School and the Global High School provide a well-rounded education, focusing on holistic development to support students’ growth inside and outside the classroom. Additionally, The Mandate uses sustainable farming techniques, promoting food security and sustainable livelihoods for widows and orphans, ensuring proper nutrition.

Nurturing Dreams: The Hope School
of Uganda

Donations significantly enhance the quality of education at the Hands of Hope Primary School and the Global High School in Uganda, where our mission is to support quality education through Christian teachers. By providing school supplies and food and supplementing teacher salaries, we ensure the retention of skilled educators who are vital not only in the classroom but also as mentors since students live at the school during the terms. This close interaction helps a nurturing environment, shaping the children’s futures. Your contributions directly impact these teachers’ ability to provide academic and personal guidance, profoundly affecting the students’ lives.

Stitching Success: Sewing School
Empowerment

The Mandate’s sewing school is a transformative program to empower Uganda’s young adults by teaching them essential sewing skills. This initiative provides practical training and equips these young students with the tools they need to build a sustainable future.

Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are awarded their own sewing machines. This crucial resource allows them to start their own sewing businesses or find employment in the textile industry, thus improving their economic independence and stability. The program not only enhances their personal and professional lives but also contributes positively to their communities by promoting entrepreneurship and self-reliance.

Sustaining Grieving Families: The Farm
Initiative in Uganda

The Mandate operates on several acres dedicated to growing vegetables and supporting our food supplementation ministry. The Mandate employs local farmers to help gather, plant, and maintain crops, thus further uplifting the community. This innovative approach boosts local agriculture and ensures the benefits are shared with the widows and orphans, helping sustain and uplift the entire community.
